I have had the game The Seventh Guest since 2003 or so now and I love the game and its cheesy horror. Absolutely love it. Download Software Halo 2 Update Patch From Nosteam. However I absolutely suck at horror games. I usually run it on a Windows 95/98 box and have given it a stab on XP. And while the Win32 patch works on XP it isnt really good.

There is a bunch of DOS graphical artifacting and the control is somewhat iffy. And I doubt it will work at all with a 64 bit system. Have tried ScummVM halfheartedly in the past and ran into bumps so abandoned it. My friend stayed a few days and she loves puzzle games. She plays all the hidden object games and is real good at them.

So I decided to introduce her to The 7th Guest. I showed her the intro, quick how to on getting around etc and then I went to the store. Came back about an hour later and she was in love with the game, had plowed through some of the harder puzzles, and had already beaten the spider puzzle that I been stuck on for years.
